Scandinavian Children's Mission in Ukraine was opened in October 1992 in Lutsk. The founder of the Mission is the famous Swedish actor  Sigward Wallenberg, his son Bosse is the President of the Mission. The field of the Missions activity is very wide: Evangelization, help to poor and lonely people, families with many children, sick people, to take care about Chernobyl children, to organize medical treatment and rehabilitation for them abroad, guardianship over orphanages. But facts,    maybe,will tell better about it.

In Volyn region we have 18 centres to help all surfaring people. Mission fruitfully cooperates with governmental and social organizations, unions, Churches. Every year about 200 thousands poor people get help from SCM. During 1992 - 2001 we gave out nearly 5000 tons of clothes, shoes, food- products, medicines.  To carry out God's call 100 workers involved, only 7 are financially supported.
